VISSIM DynaDriver Plug-In
This plug-in was developed taking advantage of VISSIM External Driver Module C++ APIs. It can be used to control any vehicle's movement in the network i.e., the user is free to override VISSIM decisions. Therefore, it helps crash modeling, or driver behavior studie.
The plug-in contains three dlls, GetInfo.Dll, DriverModel.dll, and DynaDriverDll.dll. After downloading, copy these dlls to the \EXE directory where VISSIM.exe is installed.

VISSIM Lane Closure Utility
This utility can arbitrarily close SINGLE or MULTIPLE lanes in the SAME link or in DIFFERENT links, while by default, VISSIM can only close one single lane in a link. Also the utility allows flexible closure time for each individual lane, i.e., different lane could have different closure period, for example, lane 1 in link 1 is closed during 9:30am to 9:45am, while lane 2 in link 1 is closed from 9:35pm to 10:45pm. The utility allows to specify prohibited vehicle classes for each individual lane.
This tool would be very useful for studying HOV lanes with reversing traffic during different time of day, or assist incident modeling.
